RECOMMENDED ACTIVITIES

In addition to the above activities which we have arranged, we recommend you try the following if you get time:

Phi Phi Island Tour:

Phi Phi is approximately 50 minutes away from Phuket by speedboats. The islands consist of 2 small islands: Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh. Ferry ports and hotels can be found on the first, while the latter is uninhabited offering magnificent beaches. Loh Sama and Maya Bay on Phi Phi Leh are the location for the Hollywood film "The Beach."

Phi Phi is open to visitors all year round and tour operators organising day trips and packages to the islands are virtually everywhere. Your hotel can help you arrange a tour. From experience, we recommend against a tour which involves a long tail boat (they are loud, smell of fuel and take a long time!)

James Bond Island Tour:

James Bond Island, known originally and locally as Ko Tapu or Nail Island, found fame through the 1974 Bond film "The Man with the Golden Gun". The film starred Roger Moore and Christopher Lee (as the three nippled arch-villain Scaramanga) but it was the scenic topography that helped make the film into a firm Bond favourite. It also turned the previously unknown Phang Nga Bay into a major tourist attraction.

There are numerous companies offering day tours to James Bond Island. Your hotel can help you arrange this. See the above note regarding long tail boats.

Splash Jungle:

Are you ready to make a big splash?  Then Phuket’s first water park is the place for you. Cool off in over six million liters of pure water excitement surrounded by a host of activities and entertainment for thrill-seekers or spectators alike.

The entry fee includes return transfers from your hotel. Simply ask your hotel to contact Splash Jungle and ask them to send a shuttle bus.

Oasis Spa:

Oasis Spas offer the unique "Lanna-style" spa experience. Guests delight in the graceful attention that defined Northern Thailand's golden era. The gentle and courteous Lanna ambience pervades all to create a magical place where beautiful and gracious people provide the ultimate in personal service without pretentious airs.

View the Oasis spa website where you will find treatments, packages and prices. As a special offer, Oasis Spa will offer guests a two for the price of one discount on selected treatment packages.
